Our mission at Helping Others Progress through Education is to help families improve health by increasing access to farm fresh produce and nutritional and culinary education. The FOODSHARE program is designed to help families improve health by increasing access to FRESH PRODUCE by providing an affordable produce box once a month. We strive to feed the homeless and children throughout the year. We organize events throughout the year to feed the homeless and participated in the South Carolina Department of Education (Summer Food Service Program for Children (SFSP) in 2018 through 2019. H.O.P.E. work with young adults to identify institutions of higher learning, complete entrance applications, secure financial aid, and ultimately make the transition to life as a college student. Donations go towards college tours, scholarships, and helping young adults with transitioning into the college life.
